ONTESTS HAVE BEEN an integral part of the CFCP, Inc. activities for many years. They are intended to encourage the writing and submission of good poetry. Presently, three separate contests are open to both members and the public at large.

Two of these are held annually, one for grades 7 through 12 and one for ages 18 and older, with the winners announced and prizes awarded at the Convention. The third is a Monthly Contest, with the winners published in subsequent issues of the newsletter, Chaparral Updrafts.

Several local chapters sponsor their own contests. You may find information regarding these contests on the chapter pages.
