The Song of the San Joaquin accepts submissions of poetry having to do with life in the San Joaquin Valley of California. This area is defined geographically as the region from Bakersfield to Sacramento, and from the foothills on the west to those on the east. Poems do not need to be agricultural or nature-oriented but should reflect the lifestyles of the California Central Valley.

Preferred form of submission is electronic. Submit poems as MS Word attachments to an e-mail document. All e-mail correspondence should be directed to the editor at Song of the San Joaquin.

If you are unable to send manuscripts electronically, you may mail them to: Editor, Song of the San Joaquin, PO Box 1161, Modesto, CA, 95353-1161. Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope (SASE). Notification time may range from three weeks to three months.

Current and back issues are available for $5.00 each.
